What to Expect at Northway Animal Emergency Clinic
When you arrive, our medical team will perform an immediate assessment of your pet’s condition. We understand how stressful emergencies can be, so we strive to keep you informed at every step. Once stabilized, we’ll work with you to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your pet’s needs and your family’s goals.

Collaborative Follow-Up Care
As an emergency facility, we’re here to help. Once your pet’s immediate needs have been addressed, we’ll ensure a seamless handoff to your primary veterinarian for follow-up care.
We’ll send a detailed report of your pet’s visit, including any diagnostics like bloodwork, to your regular vet, so they can continue treatment with all the necessary information. While we focus on stabilizing and treating your pet during the emergency, your primary veterinarian will oversee their ongoing care and recovery.
To help you care for your pet at home, we’ll provide clear home care instructions tailored to your pet’s condition. If your pet requires additional treatment or specialist care, we’ll guide you through the next steps and help coordinate those referrals.
