Name/Title Bio
Dr. Greg BayanGreg Bayan, DVM Dr. Greg Bayan grew up in New Brunswick, NJ and grad­u­ated from Rut­gers Uni­ver­sity with a bachelor’s degree in zool­ogy in 1977. He received his vet­eri­nary degree from Cor­nell Uni­ver­sity in 1982. After a few years in pri­vate small ani­mal prac­tice in New Jer­sey, he moved back to upstate NY and prac­ticed in Rhinebeck and Glens Falls before join­ing the staff of the Cap­i­tal Dis­trict Ani­mal Emer­gency Clinic where he prac­ticed for 19 years. Dr. Bayan started at NAEC in early 2010 and we are proud to have him full time as a val­ued mem­ber of our team. Dr. Bayan resides nearby in Moreau with his wife Lau­rie, daugh­ter Chistina, and step­son Devon, along with two dogs, three cats, one para­keet, and a gar­den pool full of gold­fish and Koi. He loves the great out­doors, enjoys play­ing gui­tar, wood­carv­ing and do-it-yourself projects around the house.

Matt Brunke, DVM, CCRP, CVPP (Candidate)

Dr. Matt Brunke is orig­i­nally from Queens, NY. He received his B.S. in Ani­mal Sci­ence from Cor­nell Uni­ver­sity in 2000. Dr. Brunke then attended Ross Uni­ver­sity, and after com­plet­ing his clin­i­cal rota­tions at Pur­due Uni­ver­sity, he received his D.V.M. in 2004.  Dr. Brunke has prac­ticed in the Cap­i­tal Dis­trict since grad­u­a­tion, doing gen­eral prac­tice, emer­gency med­i­cine and surgery, as well as ortho­pe­dic surgery.

Dr. Brunke has com­pleted cer­ti­fi­ca­tion in reha­bil­i­ta­tion, ortho­pe­dic surgery and stem cell ther­apy. He man­aged a reha­bil­i­ta­tion prac­tice in Albany for 5 years, and enjoys work­ing with both acute and chronic prob­lems.  He is cur­rently fin­ish­ing his cer­ti­fi­ca­tion in pain management.

In his spare time, Dr. Brunke enjoys train­ing and com­pet­ing in triathlons and run­ning events. He also enjoys trav­el­ing and cook­ing. He shares his home with his Caribbean mutt “Skeeter” and his cat “Milo”. Dr. Brunke can be reached at DrMattBrunke@gmail.com.

Kim­berly Linen­doll, DVM Dr. Kim­berly Linen­doll is one of NAEC’s orig­i­nal staff mem­bers hav­ing joined our team when the clinic opened in 2001. She grad­u­ated from Ross Uni­ver­sity in 1999. Fol­low­ing grad­u­a­tion she com­pleted an intern­ship at The Met­ro­pol­i­tan Vet­eri­nary Hos­pi­tal in Akron, Ohio. She then went on to prac­tice in Louisville, Ken­tucky where she trained in emer­gency med­i­cine at Louisville Vet­eri­nary Spe­cialty and Emer­gency Ser­vices. Dr. Linen­doll lives at home with her hus­band Tim, their cats Fred, Sharon Osborn, and the 2 Bo Broth­ers along with the ever-loving Gin­ger the dog. Dr. Jodi Novak (DVM)Jodi Novak, DVM Dr. Jodi Novak attended Cor­nell Uni­ver­sity Col­lege of Vet­eri­nary Med­i­cine, grad­u­at­ing in 2000. She then com­pleted a rotat­ing intern­ship focus­ing on emergency/critical care med­i­cine, surgery, and inter­nal med­i­cine at the VCA Emer­gency Ani­mal Hos­pi­tal and Refer­ral Cen­ter of San Diego. Fol­low­ing her intern­ship, she remained in south­ern Cal­i­for­nia prac­tic­ing emer­gency med­i­cine over the next two years. Wish­ing to be closer to fam­ily, Dr. Novak relo­cated to the Cap­i­tal Region join­ing our staff as a full time emer­gency vet­eri­nar­ian in 2003. With a grow­ing fam­ily at home, she became a part time staff vet­eri­nar­ian in late 2006. Dr. Novak and her beloved hus­band, Aaron, share their house with 3 feisty chil­dren, an assort­ment of furry four legged friends, and four funny feath­ered hens. Ciera EarlCiera Earl, LVT, VTS(ECC) Ciera took the man­age­ment posi­tion at NAEC in late 2007 after hav­ing worked as a vet­eri­nary tech­ni­cian with the prac­tice for over 5 years. She grad­u­ated from SUNY Delhi in 2000 with an AAS in Vet­eri­nary Tech­nol­ogy and Becker Col­lege in 2002 with a BS in Vet­eri­nary Sci­ence. She received her cer­ti­fi­ca­tion as a vet­eri­nary tech­ni­cian spe­cial­ist focus­ing in emer­gency in crit­i­cal care in 2006. Ciera enjoys down­hill ski­ing, read­ing, trav­el­ing, and spend­ing time at home with her hus­band Travis, son Lan­don, and their 4-legged chil­dren Manny, Mar­ley, Zeke, and Hemi the cat. Whitney Friedrich, Licensed Veterinary TechnicianWhit­ney Friedrich, LVT Whit­ney joined our NAEC staff in 2011. Although she has worked here part time for 2 years she is the newest mem­ber of our full time team. She received her AS in Lib­eral Arts at SUNY Adiron­dack in 2006. She then went on to grad­u­ate from SUNY Can­ton in 2008 with an AAS in Vet­eri­nary Tech­nol­ogy. It was her love of ani­mals and desire to help that inspired her to become a vet­eri­nary tech­ni­cian. She shares her home with three crazy dogs (Caylee, Alize, and Rayah), three cats and four tur­tles. When she’s not at work she enjoys spend­ing her free time hik­ing, bik­ing, run­ning and quilting.
Mylissa Corlew, Licensed Veterinary TechnicianMylissa Cor­lew, LVT (Direc­tor of Technicians) Mylissa grad­u­ated from SUNY Can­ton in 2003 with her associate’s degree in applied sci­ence focus­ing on vet­eri­nary tech­nol­ogy. She has been inter­ested in emer­gency med­i­cine since grad­u­a­tion. She attended the Uni­ver­sity at Albany and obtained her bach­e­lors degree focus­ing on biol­ogy and a minor in busi­ness in May of 2007. She has been employed with the North­way Ani­mal Emer­gency Clinic since Feb­ru­ary of 2006. She recently attended the emer­gency and crit­i­cal care sym­po­sium held in New Orleans, LA this past Sep­tem­ber. She strives to bet­ter her edu­ca­tion and tech­ni­cal skills in order to pro­vide the best crit­i­cal care nurs­ing that she can offer.
Rebecca TebbuttRebecca Teb­butt, LVT Rebecca joined our NAEC team in Decem­ber of 2007. She received her A.A.S. degree from SUNY Can­ton with empha­sis in Vet­eri­nary Sci­ence in 2006. Although she is new to the emer­gency world, Rebecca has worked with ani­mals since 1999 and loves crit­i­cal care nurs­ing. She enjoys hik­ing, swim­ming in the sum­mer and snow­shoe­ing in the win­ter. Rebecca shares her home with one of our pre­vi­ous house cats “Char­lie” & “Bub­batundi” a very hand­some Yorkie.
Sarah WilkesSarah Wilkes, LVT Sarah started work­ing at NAEC as a LVT in 2010, and has dis­cov­ered her pas­sion for emer­gency med­i­cine. She has over 10 years of vet­eri­nary expe­ri­ence in farm and com­pan­ion ani­mals. She grad­u­ated with a B.S. in Ani­mal Sci­ence from Vir­ginia Tech in 2004, and most recently an A.A.S in Vet­eri­nary Tech­nol­ogy in 2009. Sarah and her hus­band, Crafton, moved from South­west Vir­ginia to the Adiron­dacks in 2006. They have 4 fur babies which include 3 dogs, Angus, Dooly and Jor­dan, and one cat, Nemo. She enjoys trav­el­ing, hik­ing, cross-country ski­ing, music, knit­ting, and just enjoy­ing life.
Suzie WilliamsSuzie Civitello, LVT Suzie has been employed here at NAEC since May 2007. She is a SUNY Can­ton grad­u­ate, receiv­ing her AAS in Vet­eri­nary Sci­ence in 2005.  Suzie enjoys spend­ing time at home with her hus­band Anthony , her daugh­ter Allyson, & the newest mem­ber of the fam­ily her son Col­dyn. She also shares her home with her 2 dogs; Haven &  Maria, and her cat Healthcliff
Taber Korosec, LVT Taber Jane Korosec grad­u­ated from SUNY Delhi with her Asso­ciates in Ani­mal Sci­ence in May 2004. Since grad­u­a­tion, she has worked as a licensed vet­eri­nary tech­ni­cian at the Cap­i­tal Dis­trict Ani­mal Emer­gency Clinic and grad­u­ated with her Cer­tifi­cate in Mas­sage Ther­apy in May of 2008. Taber worked at NAEC over the win­ter of 2011, becom­ing a full time mem­ber of the team in the spring of 2012. She brings lots of crit­i­cal care expe­ri­ence as well as her knowl­edge of mes­sage to bet­ter help the patients of NAEC. Taber works as a licensed mas­sage ther­a­pist part time and fills the rest of her time with cycling, read­ing, trav­el­ing, and sewing toys for her 7 cats: Holly, Win­nie, Slim, Palmer, Missy, Kizzy, and Zombie.
